The FIRST Robotics Team 2783 welcomes high school students from Oldham and surrounding Kentucky counties to learn STEM skills through the design, build, and competition of FIRST Robotics challenges.
As a part of the FIRST community, our team members emphasize the FIRST philosophies of Gracious Professionalism and Cooperation through the FIRST Core Values of friendly sportsmanship, respect for the contribution of others, teamwork, learning, and community involvement. FIRST is More Than Robots®Founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen, FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12). Our programs are suitable for schools or structured afterschool activities and receive support from a vast network of volunteers, educators, and sponsors/donors, including over 200 Fortune 500 companies.

The Engineers of Tomorrow is a community-based FIRST Robotics Team.
Founded in 2009, EOT Team 2783 was created to support STEM across Oldham and the surrounding Kentucky counties.
Our mentors and parents are dedicated to offering practical applications of academic skills and encouraging an appreciation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Our Community
As a team, both mentors and students are active volunteers in local community organizations. Engineers of Tomorrow is active in the La Grange Chamber of Commerce and multiple students hold positions on the Kentucky FIRST Student Board of Directors.
Our Values
As a team, we will strive to compete at the highest caliber while maintaining a mindset of gracious professionalism. We encourage our students to venture out of their comfort zones and mentor them in leadership and teamwork.
